A far-reaching compilation of Detroit techno and acid. Three years in the making, these tracks each represent Detroit's influence from the early 90's up through today. Each one is uniquely hand-crafted using analog hardware and instrumentation. For the artist, it reflects a journey of uninhibited exploration and experimentation taken over the last three years: An effort to restore the roots and yet still push the limits. Most of all, it is honest techno and musicianship, free from the gimmickry of computer software, and confined to a handful of carefully selected instruments from Roland, Elektron and Access, along with a host of Fx pedals and filters. This album is not for the masses, but for those who know.
